Hello Doc and Margarette, how are you both?. Spring has finally arrived and we've been busy getting the garden tidied , sowing grass seed and putting rose bushes in. It's good to have John home although they have gone away for a few days so we're Molly sitting. We're going to Yorkshire on friday with Gus's brother and wife for a long weekend and to have a meal on the dining car of the old steam train. We hope to get to the caravan the week after that so it's all go at the moment. Hope you're both doing ok Love Mary and Gus

Still here, still bored

Its one day to go before we begin part two of the long journey. Right now we leave for the airport at 1200, in time for the flight at 1130 at night. Over 11 hours of fun filled waiting. Oh boy. Then we have to make it through customs and onto the flight to England, hoping that everyone is correct and we can take the weapons with us. That's if they don't screw us over and set up a military flight, which would mean we wouldn't get back home until around midnight on Saturday. Somehow, a 36 hour travel plan does not make me overly thrilled. Still, mustn't grumble, as I will be heading home and at some point this ordeal will end.

I am doing laundry and a few other bits and pieces, all of my luggage has been packed, and repacked, and I am ready, except for some small pieces, and the clothes in the laundry.

I'm bored

Hi all. Sitting in Qatar at the moment. Have to go to the USO area to get a computer. As the title says I'm bored. We are sardined into a 20 X 20 room (8 people + luggage), so its not alot of fun.

As I observed earlier, I am very much alone. The rest of the gang is all cliquish and buddy buddy with each other, so except for a relative few, there is no one to talk to. Its kind of funny, but a few of the guys back in Iraq who I was with made some) not favourable) observations about some members of the JAC crew that they had run into. To a letter I agree with them. I cannot wait to get back so I do not have to associate with them again.

Its extremely hot here, and there's not alot to do. I've spent a few days ploughing through a book, almost done with it, and have a couple more in the hopper. We are supposed to outprocess here on Tuesday, and then depart on Friday. Fingers crossed.

Thank you to Mum and Nick for texting me. Viv says it feels good to be able to phone me when she wants.

Take care of yourselves and each other.
